Hendrickson is announcing the introduction of AIRTEK front air suspension as an option on IC Bus RE Series school and commercial buses. The suspension has high-volume air springs and dual-height control valves. Its leaf spring assembly forms a torsion system with STEERTEK — a rigid, box-shaped axle. The STEERTEK axle features a two-piece knuckle that allows kingpin maintenance without removal from the axle beam. AIRTEK has rubber suspension bushings and up to 50 degrees of wheel cut.
