The Model 710J backhoe now includes a new PowerTech E 6068 Tier 3 engine. The backhoe reaches 22 feet, 4 inches when extended. With its new engine, the backhoe boasts 126 net horsepower. Exterior upgrades to the backhoe include a new extended grill frame that comes standard and a side louver that improves airflow to the engine. All servicing is done on the same side and accessed from the ground, eliminating the need to raise the boom. No tools are necessary to open and tilt the hood, which can be tilted to 90 degrees.
