Ideal for government fleets or as a second vehicle for commuters, electric-powered MM NmG is considered a motorcycle by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Although the vehicle registers, insures, and parks like a motorcycle, operation requires only a car drivers license (due to the vehicles inherent stability). Features bucket seat, tilt steering wheel, foot pedals, 3-point safety harness, and storage space in trunk. Measures 57 ins. high, with 72-in. wheelbase. Runs on 13 sealed, lead-acid batteries, weighing 46 lbs. each, along with 156-v.-d.c. motor. Travels from 20 to 40 miles, when fully charged. Reaches top speed of 70 m.p.h. Equipped with on-board battery charger, power windows, hazard warning lights, heater, defroster, and 2 power ports for laptop computers and cell phones.
