Florida city focuses cameras on
red-light runners

American Traffic Solutions (ATS) has been given the green light to
install red-light cameras in Lakeland, Fla. The Lakeland City Commission
has approved a contract that permits ATS to install its
ultrahigh-resolution digital cameras at designated intersections.

Bandit Beast recyclers extend
global reach

Several models from Remus, Mich.-based Bandit Industries are playing
a role in the international biomass fuel markets by reducing wood and
grassy materials. A number of diesel-powered models have been working in

MassHighway to spend $30.7 million
on intelligent transportation system

The I-91 and I-291 corridors in western Massachusetts will be among
the first highways in the United States to benefit from communication
provided by a traffic management tool known as an intelligent
transportation system (ITS), according to the provider of the
