Grainger presented 27 top-performing suppliers with its Partners in Performance Supplier Award for 2006. Grainger, a broad line supplier of facilities maintenance products serving government entities throughout North America, presents the award to a select group of suppliers who achieve excellence in responsiveness, information integrity, on-time shipping, cost control, management commitment, and order fulfillment. Grainger suppliers receive ratings throughout the year for their performance in each of these categories. Approximately two percent of the company's 1,200 suppliers receive this award each year.
