ITS Corp. Wins $45 Million U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Contract
Oxnard, Calif.-based ITS Corp. (ITS) has been awarded a contract to provide information technology services to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The contract is expected to be worth up to $45 million over its five-year life.

According to ITS, the company will support the Search and
Information Resources Administration, which oversees projects such
as automating the examination and technical processing of patent
applications and providing automation training to all Patent
Organization employees.

the Patent and Trademark Office,” said Lara Fries, vice
president of the IT Services Group's Federal, Civilian and
Intelligence Division. “We think the Search and Information
Resources Administration is making intellectual property easier to
secure and use, and we're proud to be a part of their team. We've
been one of the Patent and Trademark Office's partners for nine
years now. We're glad our federal customers can count on
us.”
ITS is a subsidiary of QinetiQ North America's IT Services Group.
