According to ITS, the company will support the Search and Information Resources Administration, which oversees projects such as automating the examination and technical processing of patent applications and providing automation training to all Patent Organization employees.

“We're very pleased to continue our long relationship with the Patent and Trademark Office,” said Lara Fries, vice president of the IT Services Group's Federal, Civilian and Intelligence Division. “We think the Search and Information Resources Administration is making intellectual property easier to secure and use, and we're proud to be a part of their team. We've been one of the Patent and Trademark Office's partners for nine years now. We're glad our federal customers can count on us.”

ITS is a subsidiary of QinetiQ North America's IT Services Group.
